REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR INTERN
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic illness, substance use, and other challenges that can make life feel harder than it needs to. Therapy with me is a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and figure out what actually helps. Together, we’ll look at the patterns and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while finding practical ways to help you feel more like yourself.

Who I Work With
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic illness, substance use, and other challenges that can leave you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You may understand why you feel the way you do but still have a hard time changing the patterns that keep showing up, or you may simply know that something isn't working and want a place to figure it out.

I especially enjoy working with people who want to better understand themselves and how past experiences may be affecting their lives today. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start with what is happening now and work from there.

How I Work
I don't believe therapy has to look the same for everyone. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach and draw from EMDR, CBT, somatic-oriented therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative techniques depending on what makes sense for you.
Â
Sometimes our work might involve looking more closely at the experiences or patterns underneath what you're struggling with. Other times, it may be more practical by finding tools that help you manage what's happening in your life right now. I also pay attention to the connection between what is happening emotionally and what you notice in your body, especially when stress or past experiences have kept you feeling constantly on edge or disconnected.

My goal isn't to tell you how you should think or feel. It's to help you understand what's happening, find what actually works for you, and make changes that feel realistic in your life.

What Therapy With Me Feels Like
Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and centered around what you need. You can expect me to listen and give you space, but I'll also be engaged in the process with you. We can be curious about what's coming up, notice patterns together, and slow things down when something feels worth exploring.

You don't have to show up with the perfect thing to talk about or know exactly what you want to work on. Some weeks we'll go deeper, and other weeks we'll focus on getting through what's right in front of you. Wherever we start, the goal is for therapy to feel useful, genuine, and like a place where you can be yourself.
Outside The Therapy Room
When I’m not working with clients, you can probably find me enjoying all things Disney or spending time with the people I care about. I’m a big believer that the things that bring us joy matter, and I try to make plenty of room for them in my own life too.
