Who I Work With
I work with older children (ages 10+), teens, and adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, abuse, grief, anxiety, and other overwhelming life experiences. Many of the clients I support have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, or other experiences that continue to shape how they see themselves, relate to others, and move through the world.

My clinical experience includes working with survivors of human trafficking and individuals healing from complex trauma. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, understood, and never alone in your healing.

How I Work
I believe healing begins with feeling safe. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based trauma treatment. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, allowing me to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.

Trauma can affect the way we think, feel, relate to others, and experience our bodies. Rather than asking you to simply move on from painful experiences, we will work together to understand how those experiences continue to impact your life today. My goal is to help you process what you've been through, build resilience, reconnect with your strengths, and experience a greater sense of safety within yourself and your relationships.

What Therapy With Me Feels Like
Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when trust has been broken or life has felt overwhelming. I strive to create an environment where you can move at a pace that feels right for you while knowing you have someone in your corner.

My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived. Healing is not about forgetting what happened. It is about helping those experiences hold less power over your life so you can move forward with greater confidence, connection, and peace.
Outside The Therapy Room
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my two boys and embracing the moments that come with family life. Motherhood has strengthened my appreciation for resilience, connection, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves.

Growing up with a multicultural background has also shaped the way I see the world. It has given me an appreciation for the many ways culture, identity, and life experiences influence how we relate to ourselves and others. I carry that perspective into my work, striving to create a space where every client feels respected, understood, and valued for who they are.
